It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

Its been a while since a journal

I only have about 3 weeks of A Levels left until i'm on study leave, i'll have my two exams in June and then i'm off to a foundation course in Art (if I get the grades... which is really making me panic now) BUTYEAH I should be focusing on that stuff for now since I have an entire art project to finish by the 18th and I still haven't made my final piece :c

...Completely ignoring all of what I just said i've been attempting to do some animation again (despite my first animations being some of the worst seen in existence).. might get it finished tomorrow.. or later tonight if I can.. but yeah i've uploaded a small loop on YouTube if you wanna take a peak [link] c:

Anywhoooooo.. that might.. should get done before the weekend is out but until about June 15th I won't.. shouldn't be here much BUT when I do come back i'll try to get some more decent drawings going again!
